Proudly created in Greenleaf, WI, Joel's Antiques and Reclaimed Decor, LLC has its roots in a rural town near the eastern shores of Wisconsin. For over 20 years, Joel and Marilyn worked together in construction, but when the economy fell apart, they found themselves in need of a new venture.

During their time in construction, Joel and Marilyn often worked with repairing old barns. They noticed that many of these barns no longer served a purpose, as many were from abandoned family farms. So, they started taking down these old barns and using the lumber to heat their home.

After years of working in construction, Joel began to experience major back problems, and they realized they needed to try something new. Joel started using the old barn boards to make picture frames and listed them on eBay. However, these frames did not sell. But when Marilyn listed a shelf he had made for her out of a barn beam, it sold immediately. This was the spark that ignited their new venture.

In 2011, Joel's Antiques and Reclaimed Decor, LLC was officially born. What started as a two-person operation has now grown into a team of six men and women, all working together to create high-quality shelving and provide excellent service.

These mantels and shelves are built to withstand time, just like the 120-year-old barns they are crafted from.
